Fifteen years behind the chair as a colorist and stylist has taught me so much. Not only do I have a tremendous passion for hair and the artistry of it - but I also have seen what making a living around harsh chemicals can do to your body, scalp, skin barrier & hormones. I believe that the less chemicals we surround ourselves with & allow our bodies to touch the better quality of life we will have. The media has forced us to believe that if something is expensive - it is good for you, if something has a certain smell or a certain label - it is good for you. These are all distractions to keep you from turning that product around and reading its ingredients. After never being able to find a shampoo and conditioner that would help my hair grow quickly & look its best - I decided to create one. My ‘POISE’ line is my first baby and something I am extremely proud of myself for creating. In the Nude Organics was created in hopes of educating the beauty industry, showing up for what I believe, and to give luxury consumers a company that truly cared about them, their health, and beautiful lasting results.
